1. For Patterns & Files (Digital Downloads) ♥
Q: How do I access my embroidery pattern after purchase?
A: Once your payment is complete, you will receive an email with a secure download link. You can also access your files at any time by logging into your account on our website.
Q: Are your patterns suitable for beginners?
A: Yes! All designs are perfect for beginners.
Q: Can I sell items I make using your patterns?
A: We love seeing your finished work! You are welcome to sell items you create using our patterns for small-scale, handmade use, but we ask that you credit Essence of Embroidery as the designer. Please do not redistribute the digital file itself.
2. For Technique & Supplies ♥
Q: What materials do I need to get started?
A: Along with the pattern, you’ll need an embroidery hoop, fabric (we recommend cotton or linen), embroidery floss of any colours, and a needle. You can even use specialty embroidery scissors or needleminders to keep your thread clean and your needle in sight!
Q: Do your patterns include a colour guide?
A: No, not every pattern will include a colour guide. All patterns include a Stitch & Transfer guide for basic stitches and instructions for transfering your design at home. You can use our images as a reference for colours and technique.
Q: Can I adjust the size of the pattern?
A: Definitely! Each pattern already comes in 6 different sizes (from 3" to 8"), which means you can choose the exact size that fits your specific hoop. If you would like custom sizes, reach out to us and we can organise that for you.
Q: What's included with my physical fabric pattern?
A: All pre-printed fabrics are printed on a 21cm wide cotton fabric. This suits a standard 7" embroidery hoop. If you do not have an embroidery hoop, they are sold at any craft store or you can purchase one from us on our storefront. All other supplies like threads and needles are sold separately.

Q: Do you ship to my country?
A: We ship worldwide! Depending on your location, shipping prices may vary. Please also bare in mind that we are from Australia, and it might mean your item takes a little longer to get to you than normal.
All physical item orders have 1-2 handling and shouldn't take more than 3 weeks to arrive to your doorstep. We provide tracking information right away so you can keep track of your order during its journey.
Q: How long does it take to receive my digital download?
A: You will receive your digital download immediately in your inbox, or right from the checkout page after purchase. You can download it as many times as you like, across many devices. All files are available in your order history.
